HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

You and Sue are both FAR older than me... Sue by about 5 months, and you by about 4... Yes, I'm but a wee pup compared to you both! (Sue's such a cougar!)

Apparently, when I was brought home from the hospital, my eldest sister screamed "TAKE IT BACK!" and my elder sister whined that she wanted a younger sister. The latter, when during the eighties I went through my long, dyed hair phase, she used to say, "I finally have the sister I always wanted!"

Wow. I come back today to read so many wonderful birthday greetings. Thank you, thank you, thank you, everyone! Every word is much appreciated. I had a great birthday, spent part of it just with David and part of it with him, my parents and elder sister. I got some truly lovely presents and cards, including but not only, my much-desired TARDIS playset, a beautiful, I think handcrafted, card from MsDemmie and her partner, clothes from my parents and eldest sister, a gorgeous heavy pewter Celtic dragon from my other big sister...

And I know next to nothing but know enough to, um, know that it's not over yet! Something is planned for the weekend but those involved are being shamefully--shamefully!--conspiratorial about it. I can find out nothing... But whatever is going on, I suspect I will have an emotional and fabulous weekend ahead.
